This place is a hidden gem, the room was big, bed was clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are large. We came for a funeral and I forgot to iron our shirts before I left but the room had a iron and iron board it was a bonus, outside the room they have a ice machine and an ice cold water machine. They have a restaurant on site but we never made it to the restaurant however we did go and have a look it look very nice Inside. Railway station was about 5 minutes walk so we left the car and jumped on the train to the city for the day, very convenient. We will definitely be back Don't look past this place you won't regret it.

Very friendly staff. You can have a beautiful view of Mt. Cook right from the hotel entrance. For a $25 you can watch any number of documentary and admission to planetarium valid for 3 days. Breakfast and dinner is phenomenal.

Went above and beyond my expectations for the area. Staff were amazing and friendly, room was way bigger than other more expensive hotels I've been in, doesn't make you feel your in a shoebox. The bathroom and spa are big and spacious. The restaurant was absolutely amazing, great great food and quality, staff were amazing also. Even had free pool tables to use. Oh and the outside pool with mini spa is amazing too. Just amazing all round, will def be coming back for a weekend retreat.

A great value stay. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom was very spacious and water pressure in the shower was excellent. However rooms are very outdated and my room wasn’t serviced once during my 3 night stay. Walls are also very thin. I could hear the TV in the room next to me over my own! Overall had a good experience.

The room was spacious and clean and there was great water pressure in the shower. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made me feel comfortable after a long day driving. I was really impressed to see that there was a recycling bin as well as a trash bin in the room! I have been saying for ages how backwards it is that hotel rooms never have recycling bins in the room. There was also a reminder to care about our earth and turn off the lights and air con when you leave. I would highly recommend.

We've stayed here a couple of times in the family room. Great for what we wanted, the children enjoyed the pool, the staff are friendly. We would recommend and will stay again.

Dated, smelly and ready for a major overhaul. Rooms were actually a good size but listened to other rooms conversations till the early hours of the morning. Sorry owners but that's how it was.
